Beaver Scouts are young people aged between 6 and 8. The Beaver Colony is the first section of the Scout Group, leading to Cubs.

Meeting nights, times and locations vary with each group. Please contact your section leader or look at the District Groups section of the website for more info.

Beavers can gain a wide range of badges and awards. These can range from health and fitness and experiment to explore and nights away. The top award in Beavers is the Chief Scout's Bronze Award. To achieve this you must complete all the challenge badges and some activity badges. In Beavers you can also achieve the Scottish Thistle Award.
